For now, we have brought my MIL to the doctor for follow-up checks. If such negligence causes harm to others, then better check how you/your family should be protected. It is their responsibility to ensure that their resort remains safe for public use. Such accidents, caused by unsafe facilities, can also be considered as negligence on the resort management's part. Just because you fell down while on a holiday doesn't mean it is an 'accident' and is no one's fault. I cannot blame him though as he probably was scared and lacked proper training to address such situations.
